Overview:

We are a local retail brand operating 4 physical retail stores as well as a fullfillment center/warehouse that processes all inventory needs as well as online orders and gifts for individuals and companies alike . A large part of our business is creating Made in Tennessee themed gift boxes and baskets for customers. We are a small business that believes in treating our employees with respect and care, exceeding our customers expectations, and supporting local makers and artisans.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team primarily with our gifting arm of e-commerce production and shipping. He or she will be responsible for keeping daily operations of online and corporate orders for gifts and local goods on track while reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking customer orders from online sales.
• When gift boxes or baskets are needed for online orders, store sales, or other corporate and event orders, build gifts to the specifications communicated ensuring each gift basket, box, or bag is visually appealing and packaged appropriately for delivery or shipping in a timely manner.
• Occasionally helping to pull inventory needed for store transfers as requested.
• Write or print gift notes as needed for orders.
• Prepare shipping labels in accordance with current standards for shipping rates and carriers, print packing slips and shipping labels when needed, and other necessary documentation for outbound shipments such as international customs forms.
• Maintain an organized shipping area and care of tape dispensers, scales, or equipment needed following all safety procedures. Ship all packages in the timeframe requested or standard turnaround time within reason.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments of merchandise, supplies, and materials. Verify contents of shipments against packing lists or purchase orders. Unload and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records by conducting periodic cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies as requested or needed. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock or out-of-stock items to appropriate personnel as you see things.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Inspect incoming shipments for quality and completeness and report any issues to relevant departments.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as requested such as restocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse.
• Assist with other projects not necessarily outlined in this description as requested within reason as needed including dropping off a delivery or store transfer if needed when other team members are out.

Working Conditions:
This position primarily operates in a warehouse environment and must be performed in-person. The warehouse does have central heat and air conditioning and is clean and organized. We currently have a small team of women that work well together here. Will be required to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time as this is primarily a job that requires you to be on your feet most of the shift. A lunch break is allowed as well as other breaks and flexibility as needed. Occasional overtime, paid at time and a half, may be offered or requested during peak times as needed. The Holidays are our busiest time, so lengthy time away during the month of December leading up the Christmas will not generally be approved on a regular basis.

Requirements:
Regular schedule of 35-40 hours a week.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50lbs pounds.
Ability to safely climb a ladder.
