Madden's is currently seeking a Landscape Field Tech for the 2023 Season.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates hedge trimmer and weed whip.
• Trim hedges and shrubs on Resort grounds and golf courses as needed.
• Works cooperatively with the Landscaper and Resort Grounds Foreman/Crew.
• Maintain or replace mulch in the flower beds as needed.
• Plants, weeds, waters, and performs other necessary duties to maintain landscaping and gardens.
• Applies liquid and dry fertilizers and nutrients to flowerbeds and landscaped areas.

• Completes projects assigned by Assistant Superintendent or Landscaper in a timely manner.
• Operates a Toro utility vehicle.

• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance..
• Attends training and team meetings.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Physical Demands: Regularly stands, bends, stoops, kneels, walks, and sits. Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms, and puts hands above shoulders, talks, or hears. Occasionally climbs, balances, crouches, crawls, tastes, or smells. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds or carries 5-gallon buckets of water.

Environment/Noise: Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes and/or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate to loud. 

Safety Equipment: Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat with visor, gloves, Tyvek suit and respirator as needed for assigned task.
