Position Overview:
Service
- assisting Servers and kitchen crew to coordinate all orders (dine-in and takeout)
- helping assemble food orders to meet timing guidelines
- collaborating with the kitchen staff to prepare meals received thru multiple 3rd party platforms
- ensuring orders are being processed and ticket cook times meet or exceed standards
- communicating with Servers and keeping kitchen crew informed to facilitate orders
- understanding the menu and preparation techniques
- continuously streamlining speed of service and food preparation without sacrificing quality
- restocking supplies as necessary
- performing calmly and effectively under pressure
- completing quality control checks on all outgoing items (completeness, presentation, organization, temperature, garnish, special requests/notes)
- performing varied duties to maintain orderly and clean stations, tables, counters, and floors
- ensuring food quality by adhering to company guidelines, processes, and standards (e.g., properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures)
- protecting establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety control policies
- ensuring all storage areas are organized and all supplies are stored appropriately while using safe and sanitary food handling practices
Qualifications:
- Work authorization required
- Minimum 1 year of experience at a full-service restaurant
- Organization and accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Able to transport food to service a party of 4 in a single trip
- Able to safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over uneven surfaces
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Understanding of food safety procedures. Food Handler’s Certification a plus
Compensation Range:
$10 per hour Tips
