Lead Cook Job Duties:

· Functions as the main communication link between production stations. 

· Coordinates the smooth flow of items being produced and assembled so servers may deliver food orders to guests in a timely manner.

Other Job Requirements

Education: 

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Previous high volume food production experience essential. Must know plate presentation and appearance standards for all food items. Able to prioritize work and remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to perform proficiently in all hot line stations. 

· Must be able to read, write, speak clearly, listen attentively and understand English in a fast-paced environment.

· Must possess excellent leadership skills, as this position does involve training fellow cooks and developing their skill sets.

Physical:

Requires bending, climbing, reaching, standing for periods of up to four hours. Must be able to move quickly. Must be able to carry pots, pans and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must possess visual acuity and good oral communication ability.

Hourly Wage and Benefits

$20.00 - $23.00 Hourly 

You will receive TIP's in addition to hourly wage.
