Macphail Center For Music is Hiring an IT Support Technician Near Minneapolis, MN
- Respond to Help Desk requests including software and hardware failures, user problems, installing software and hardware, equipment loans and loan prep.
- Organize and improve IT systems and resources.
- Maintain toner for organization printers and copiers.
- Set-up technology for meetings and conferences.
- Provide A/V support at MacPhail events.
- Provide one-to-one employee training on phones and software.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Associate degree, post-high school certification, or equivalent experience. A certification preferred.Experience 3-5 years computer support, 1-3 years customer support.Demonstrated troubleshooting experience required. Previous customer service experience and audio/video operations preferred.Skills and Abilities Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and PC hardware. Must have excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills. Strong initiative, organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multi-task.Physical Demands Occasional lifting, up to 50 lbs. Frequently sitting, working at keyboard for up to 3 hours at a time. Occasional walking, climbing, descending stairs, stooping, bending, kneeling.Job Summary
