Job SummaryThe Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and distribution processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.Job Duties• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping of fastener products.• Develop and implement efficient inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.• Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate inventory records.• Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and procurement of materials.• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and streamline picking, packing, and shipping processes.• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to fulfill orders and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.• Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and best practices in warehouse management and logistics.• Perform other job duties as assignedExperience and Education• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.• Proven experience (5 years) in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a fastener or manufacturing environment.• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.Competencies/ Skills• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with vendors and suppliers.• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration. • Strong decision-making and management skills. • Analytical thinking capabilities. • Proficiency in project and planning management.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
