Kar's Nuts is Hiring a Warehouse Materials Handler Near Madison, MI
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Wrapping and preparing pallets for shipment
- Gathering materials for the production team
- Maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Assisting with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
- Staging materials for following days production
- Operating an industrial fork truck, power or manual jack, and pallet wrapper
- Work with team lead and supervisor to hit performance targets.
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Preform other related duties as assigned
- Be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED;
- Self-directed;
- Ability to work well with peers and supervisors;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production running efficiently.
- Ability to operate Hi-Lo truck (preferred)
Physical Demands
- Can stand, bend, reach, and kneel, for extended periods frequently.
- Can walk up and down stairs frequently.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
Warehouse Associate–Afternoon Shift Kar’s Nuts – Madison Heights, MI We are located at 1200 E. 14 Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
We have positions on the Afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime as well as weekends as needed.
The starting pay rate is $17.20 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium for midnights.
This is a full-time position that includes a comprehensive benefit package including paid time off, employee discount, medical, dental, disability and life insurance and a 401(k) plan with company match!
