Machinery Partner is Hiring a Product Manager, E-commerce Near Boston, MA

Machinery Partner is on a mission to build the Amazon for Industrial Equipment. We are changing how small and growing industrial businesses buy large pieces of complex equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of our e-commerce platform and deliver a frictionless experience for both customers and suppliers.
  • Utilize your in-depth e-commerce expertise to plan and execute initiatives which will enhance our online shopping platform's performance, customer engagements, supplier satisfaction and overall user experience.
  • Optimize the purchase flow by identifying and eliminating friction points, streamlining processes, and enhancing the checkout experience to drive higher conversion rates.
  • Work effectively across departments with appropriate stakeholders to gather requirements to understand actions need to complete end goal in accordance with timeline.
  • Integrate e-commerce operations with our ERP system, ensuring seamless order processing, inventory management, and customer data synchronization.
  • Analyze shopping cart abandonment patterns and devise strategies to minimize abandonment rates through targeted follow-ups and improvements in the purchase process.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of ratings and recommendations systems, enabling customers to make informed purchase decisions and enhancing trust in our brand and process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in product management, as well as marketplace optimization.
  • Hands on experience with a functional understanding of popular ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Big Commerce and Amazon.
  • Experience with ERP integration and data synchronization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • A mindset focused on innovation, staying current with the latest e-commerce trends and emerging technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
