Overview

MacGillis Wiemer, LLC is looking for a full-time entry level Legal Assistant to join our growing personal injury team. Candidate will gain experience learning the litigation process, specifically managing, and maintaining records relative to client files. The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines with multiple priorities, appropriately handle confidential information, and communicate professionally.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Opening files

· Drafting correspondence

· Requesting and saving records

· Organizing files

· Scheduling and maintaining calendars

· E-filing legal documents

· Assisting with trial preparation

· Other related tasks as assigned

Applicants should possess the following skills:

· High school diploma

· Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple work requests

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,000 - $45,000

Salary to commensurate with experience and will be determined in part by the qualifications of the selected candidate.
