About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Corporate AgFinance team. The ideal candidate will be a driven, analytical, and personable individual with at least 12 years of experience in lending, structuring, relationship management, and leadership. This role is pivotal in setting the team's strategy for the loan purchase portfolio, managing key relationships, and developing new client relationships. The Managing Director will also be responsible for mentoring team members, supporting new opportunities, and contributing to the growth of the Corporate AgFinance portfolio.Key responsibilities for the role include developing a business development strategy, working with the Capital Markets team to deepen strategic relationships, and managing a select group of the company's largest customer relationships. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their existing network to source loan opportunities, interact closely with underwriting and capital markets to develop client solutions and support the management of the loan portfolio. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required, with a preference for a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields. The candidate should have a strong understanding of capital markets, syndicated credit, and commercial or investment banking, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and market-based asset pricing. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills are essential.
