Provides expert input to resolve design issues and innovate solutions.

Wage Range: $60,000 - $105,000

What you will do:

● Develop and implement tooling and fixtures.

● Develop, sustain, and streamline complete tooling process to support operations and product improvements.

● Oversee the design, fabrication, sourcing, and procurement of and not limited to, fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting tools, forming tools, carts, racks, to support Operations, related to MAC processes.

● Performs feasibility studies on proposed tooling concepts to determine manufacturability, cost, and cycle time impact on production process.

● Work with shop floor personnel and manufacturing staff to develop new tooling concepts and improvements.

● Oversee selection of materials, components, and equipment related to tooling.

● Create and manage resource plans.

● Oversee and implement procedures, specifications, and applications for new and existing Tooling, throughout MAC Trailer, Enterprises, Inc. and subsidiaries.

● Oversee and implement related budgets, costs, resource allocation, and material required to tooling.

● Lead improvement activities within areas related to tooling and machinery, including providing technical support to production personnel during the introduction of new or revised tooling into production operations.

Who you are:

● 4 years of experience in related technical area is required

● 3 years of tool design experience required

● Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes required.

● Experience and knowledge of welding processes preferred.

● Experience with computer aided tool design and computer aided operation is preferred.

● Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of maneuvering self throughout, work area, product, equipment.

● Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of maneuvering and manipulating tooling and machinery during all aspects of tooling and machining life cycle.

● Ability to function and facilitate job duties at various subsidiary locations when need is required.
