Maania Consultancy Services is Hiring a Linux System Administrator Near St. Louis, MO
- Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings via Cloud-based providers.
- Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions
- Strong understanding of RedHat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
- Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus
- Experience administering production RedHat OpenShift clusters.
- Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt or Terraform
- Experience working with one or more Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 3 years of IT experience
- 3 years’ experience with Platform as a Service Offerings (e.g. RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc.)
