M3 Technology Group is looking for an AV CAD DESIGNER/DRAFTER to provide field service and support for our Commercial AV division. Develop CAD designs for AV hardware systems to support the coordination and installation of operating room integration products. Proactively prepare for new projects by requesting information and identifying key requirements. Provide exceptional customer satisfaction, quality work, timely and efficient work flow to support a profitable operation. Candidates should be technically adept and dependable self-starters, with experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT. Primary Duties

• Develop CAD designs for AV hardware systems and their interconnectivity to include rack elevations, one-line drawings, and low voltage network cabling drawings.
• Complete design and drawing revisions per review feedback.
• Establish and implement standard operating procedures for assigned projects as it relates to drafting and drawings for AV systems and cabling.
• Perform research as needed for equipment used by integration team.
• Attend required job related trainings, meetings, and interfaces with other departments.
• Ability to understand and follow base building and electrical blueprints.
• Report any project changes, issues, or concerns to assigned contacts.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experienced and proficient in design using AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT required.
• Knowledgeable in construction practices, architectural drawing standards or practices required.
• Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills required.
• Possess a high degree of self-reliance, initiative and creativity required.
• Ability to work primarily unassisted or with minimal supervision and instruction.
• Exceptional self-management and organization skills required.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work hours and schedule may vary according to the needs of our customers.
• Low-voltage systems and networking familiarity a plus.
• Be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Regular and predictable attendance as scheduled.
• Position is in-office with hybrid schedule possible.
• Work cooperatively with others.
