M.P.A. Group NFP, Ltd. is Hiring a Medical Administrative Assistant Near Bay, MI

Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 7:45am until 5pm and Fridays from 7:45am until 3pm. Hours vary due to holidays and scheduling of the rest of the administrative team. A permanent schedule may be put into effect after the new staff member is fully trained. After 90 days, 40 hours of vacation is offered, as well as 9 paid holidays yearly.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant that is flexible, can follow directions, pick up new skills quickly, a team player, reliable, strong computer and people skills and be able to multi-task. The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support in an office setting that is both geared towards the clinical and medical side of the mental health system, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments for medical staff and manage their calendars
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on services offered
- Perform general administrative tasks to support medical and clinical staff

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a medical or psychiatric office setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
