We are a leading Ophthalmology practice seeking a kind, motivated, reliable candidate with excellent communication skills to help patients make and keep their appointments.

The key duty of this position is to communicate effectively with patients. The goal is to educate the patient and help them in every way possible to have an excellent experience at our office.

The ideal candidate has the strong communication skills necessary to be able to assist patients by helping them understand their condition, explain to them the necessity for their exam, and help them in making their appointment.

Duties Include:

• Answering phones and making appointments.
• Confirming appointments
• Insurance Authorizations/Eligibility
• Rescheduling patients that have missed their appointments.
• Texting/Emailing with patients.
• Sending welcome packets to patients.
• Collecting Copays and Deductibles.

Experience in Ophthalmology is a must. Knowledge of insurances, vision plans, non-covered refractive services, authorizations, deductibles and copays is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
