Our client, one of the largest and most dynamic utility companies is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for their location in Woodridge, IL. The ideal candidate would need to have basic computer skills, general knowledge of office equipment (scanner, copier) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Responsibilities for this position will include handling phone interactions with the goal of providing exceptional service to consumers.

The Day-to-Day:

• Process payments from customers and respond to service inquires
• Perform problem resolution by addressing customer complaints, discrepancies, requests, and inquiries, offering smart solutions to meet customer needs
• Adhere to established schedules to support staffing needs based on customer demand.
• Report to work on time for scheduled shifts as well as follow expected time allotment for training, breaks, and lunches.
• Work to meet assigned productivity targets and performance goals, including service quality, compliance commitments, and other deadlines.
• Work closely with new and existing customer to fully understand their specific requirements

Qualifications:

• Proficient typing and computer application skills (minimum of 40 wpm)
• Motivation for sales, adhering to set computer guided scripts and procedures
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask while speaking with a customer on the phone.
• Easily adapt to change while balancing multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, effective listening skills, and ability to identify needs through phone conversation.
• Ability to learn on the fly.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

• $21.00 /hr
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
