Lyndon Town School, a Prek - 8 school, is seeking to hire highly qualified Literacy Coaches to join our team. The candidates must be dynamic, high quality literacy leaders interested in joining a forward-thinking organization. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with classroom teachers to strengthen their literacy program and instruction (including lesson studies, lab sessions, instructional rounds and other embedded programs), analyze formative and summative assessments to drive next steps for instruction and design intervention plans; and working with the school literacy steering committee to guide literacy instruction school-wide. This individual will work closely with the instructional coaching team, teachers, principal, and district coaching team.Experience with PreK-8 effective literacy strategies, workshop model, Teachers’ College reading, phonics, and writing units of study, Common Core, the PLC at Work collaborative approach, Universal Design for Learning and formative assessment.
