Independent Sales Representative

Sales and Service Representative
This is an Independent Contractor position (1099) commission based sales position

This established territory covers New Jersey, Delaware & Maryland

Lynco Products is a wholesale distributor, manufacturer, and importer of general goods nationwide servicing convenience stores, grocery stores, and travel centers. We are seeking a talented, self-motivated Independent Sales Representative. Our ideal candidate has an aggressive desire to succeed with exceptional customer service orientated communication skills. Reps will service existing accounts as well as cultivate additional sales leads to grow our company's customer base.

An Independent Lynco Products Sales/Service Representative plans, implements and manages all activities and operations within assigned geographical accounts. The Sales Representative works with the Regional Sales Manager on account strategies; forecasting, pricing, competitive landscapes, market conditions, and customer/field sales support programs. Sales Representatives also work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. They will work to find new sales leads for the company as a way to expand the customer base.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Soliciting and developing new business opportunities in a geographical area.
  • Recommending strategies to increase sales for existing customers.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to include growing our customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Actively looking to cultivate new business.
  • Must work to build rapport with key decision makers, ensure quality standards, and pro-actively solve customer concerns.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with each account buyer in the geographical area, sales management, and any and all members of Lynco operations.
  • Uphold the Lynco Products image, professional appearance, personal integrity; adhere to a professional code of conduct, and proper tools to effectively service your customers.
  • Sell sufficient quantities and varieties of product in stores to meet each customer’s individual needs.
  • Support Accounts with quarterly audits and or inventories.
  • Ensure that the sales experience can be properly maintained until the next planned sales visit, resulting in the best customer experience to maximize sales.
  • Ensure organization of the product, racks, displays, etc. meets company standards.
