This position will be required to perform duties under the general headings of consultation, evaluation, testing for service eligibility, quality control and team leadership for individuals seeking services from the bi-county Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services Program. This position will perform independent general and specialized clinical psychological services including in the areas of ongoing treatment recommendations and educational/vocational guidance. This position will perform a variety of direct clinical work including IQ and adaptive functioning assessments and individual diagnosis for eligibility. Technical assistance as it relates to psychological services for individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability will be provided to supervisory and casework staff through a treatment team model. This position will report directly to the Deputy Administrator for Intellectual Disabilities. This position is expected to maintain a valid license, and related requirements including liability insurance, in the state of Pennsylvania to practice psychology and remain in good standing with the Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
· Provide direct clinical/psychological direction to all ID Units in conjunction with supervisory staff.
· Perform psychological testing and evaluations, including IQ and adaptive behavior (Vineland or Adaptive Behavior Assessment System (ABAS)), to assure the most appropriate diagnosis for individuals and families to determine eligibility and service recommendations.
· Provide training, as appropriate, for all Joinder personnel as related to intellectual and developmental psychological services.
· Provide evaluation and consultation for individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability and autism, including case assessments associated with the Waiver Programs.
· Provide case consultation to the Lycoming-Clinton CASSP Coordinator and participate in CASSP Team meetings as requested for individuals with IDD diagnoses.
· Provide consultation for the Joinder’s School Outreach Case Managers and the Student Assistance Program (SAP) in each school district for individuals with IDD diagnoses.
· Participate in the Lycoming-Clinton Human Services Advisory Board as needed.
· Perform related work as required.

· Practice effective use of telehealth in accordance with state regulations.
· Travel to client homes/residences to complete evaluations in their own environments as appropriate.
· Operate standard office machines/equipment.
