Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and logistics management
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and develop customized event plans
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenses are within allocated limits
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and equipment
- Oversee event setup, including decor, seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, etc.
- Coordinate event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the guest experience
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and ability to manage expenses effectively
- Familiarity with market trends in the event planning industry
- Proficiency in using event management software or tools
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
