In April 2024, Global Refuge, in partnership with the Department of State's Bureau for Populations, Refugees, and Migration, will launch a new virtual case management program, the Virtual Reception & Placement (VR&P) program.
The Regional Referral Coordinator will provide supportive services to newly arriving refugees. The Regional Referral Coordinator will work with VR&P clients and Global Refugee staff to ensure clients access local benefits and assistance and ensure onward referrals within the community such as to state-funded programs, ORR-funded Preferred Communities program, Refugee Support Services, etc.
Staff will also ensure clients are equitably allocated to local affiliates within a given community for ongoing services.
The Regional Referral Coordinator reports to the National Resource & Referral Manager.
