General Statement of Duties

Paints requested areas/items and maintains equipment.

Essential Job Functions

1. Removes furniture from area of desired painting and replaces furniture after completion of task.
2. Paints carts, cabinets, walls, door frames, etc. as assigned.
3. Monitors all painting equipment and makes minor repairs as may be necessary with minimal assistance.
4. Cleans and/or properly stores all equipment used in performance of tasks on a daily basis.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Notifies t Maintenance Director of needed supplies
2. Cleans facility equipment/structures
3. Any other duties assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. Education/Training
   1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Experience
   1. Minimum of one (1) year paint experience preferred.
3. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Ability to follow instructions
   2. Ability to work with minimal supervision
   3. Knowledge of different types of paints, surfaces, and stains
   4. Physically able to climb up and down ladders; work from raised position on ladder

Equipment:

1. Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
2. General painting equipment

Working Conditions

Works in extreme heat or cold; works in dirty and dusty area of facility; exposure to physical, chemical or respiratory hazard.
