We have an immediate opening for a 2p-10:30p Certified Medication Aide. This is a Full-Time position with full benefits! 32 hours per week.

A CMA is an important member of the overall care team at the Gardens Assisted Living. While working under the direction of a nurse, CMAs administer medications, help with daily activities and assist residents in a homelike environment. CMAs also assist memory care residents by prompting, cueing, problem-solving and redirection. The CMA charts in electronic health records and helps maintain the safety and security of residents.

Interested individuals must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be an active CNA and in good standing on the Iowa Registry and have successfully completed CMA training or Iowa’s assisted living medication manager course.

Requirements

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of the 75 - hour nursing assistant course required
• Certified medication assistant certificate or Iowa's assisted living medication manager course
• Valid registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals
