Housekeeping Supervisor Salary: Hourly rate $17.00 per hour.
Housekeeping Supervisor Shifts: Monday - Friday 11AM - 7PM or 9AM - 5PM. Alternating weekends 7AM - 3PM.

Our contract management company seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for a long-term care facility in Albany, NY.
Housekeeping Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry services to ensure facility standards. Staff in compliance with state / federal guidelines and follow facility policies and procedures under the direction of the Housekeeping Director. Supervision in long-term care or healthcare preferred.
Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties
•Reviews daily staffing to ensure adequate coverage for all areas of responsibility.
•Conducts environmental rounds in areas of responsibility, paying particular attention to restrooms and corridors; ensures that there is full compliance with standards of cleanliness and that needed equipment and supplies are available.
•Coaches staff based on inspection findings.
•Directs and supervises that work activities of staff in areas of responsibility; assigns and schedules all special projects as needed.
•Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Housekeeping Supervisor Qualifications

• Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
• Minimum of 2 years of environmental services or housekeeping and laundry experience.
