Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and professional Job Coach to provide support and assistance to a person, a valued member of our team at NMDOJ. The Job Coach will work closely with the person to ensure she receives the necessary support in various areas, including but not limited to driving, personal care, and office assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist person with transportation to and from her home to the office using her wheelchair accessible van.
• Provide physical assistance with personal care needs, lifting objects, typing, writing, printing, and other office tasks as required.
• Support person in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
• Accompany person to outreach events and assist with event setup and cleanup.
• Occasionally travel with person for in-state and out-of-state events, as needed.
• Provide occasional physical assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as meal preparation and assistance with doors.
• Respect person's professionalism and autonomy as a member of the NMDOJ team.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the NMDOJ's confidentiality agreement.
• Respectful and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift and assist with physical tasks as needed.
• Willingness to undergo training as required, including 1:1 lifting techniques and use of transfer devices.
