As part of our efforts to provide exceptional service, LRS Federal is looking to bring on board a Construction Manager/Project Manager to assist our government client, the Department of Veterans Affairs, in administration of their construction program.

Job Description:

• Acts as a liaison and coordinates construction activities between government client, construction contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and other parties including regulatory and municipal/state agencies.
• Responsible to our government client for overall management of construction projects in terms of technical quality, cost, safety, and schedule.
• Reads and understands construction documents.
• Monitors construction for quality assurance in relationship to construction documents.
• Establishes and maintains daily project progress reports and inspection reports.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a working knowledge of and experience with construction practices, preferably with healthcare projects/facilities
• Must be detailed oriented, punctual, and work well within a team.
• Initiate tasks and execute accurately.
• Ability to administer several tasks independently and concurrently.
• Team player with self-confidence and professional presence.
• High degree of maturity and business judgment.
• Possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Experience & Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; however 15 years of directly related experience will be considered
• Minimum 7 years’ construction management experience
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
