Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager. As the first point of contact for our medical office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely appointments
- Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and collect payments
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
