- Diagnosing and treating speech and language problems, and engaging in scientific study of human communication.
- Evaluating speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
- Planning, directing, or conducting rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.
- You will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while performing a variety of tasks.
- Also a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

- Requires a master's degree in speech-language pathology and requires a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC).
- You must possess a current FL License.
- You will need to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
- BLS certification required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist.
