The Home Health Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities. What you'll be doing:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
- Provide speech and language therapy to patients in their homes
- Monitor and document patient progress towards treatment goals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a home care setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to patient homes throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties
