LOWELL COMMUNITY HEALTH CTR is Hiring an Office Coordinator, Prevention and Screening Services (PASS) Near Lowell, MA

SUMMARY:

Provide administrative support to the PASS team by ensuring administrative processes are completed with accuracy and efficiency. The Administrative assistant will collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide personalized care to each individual. The Administrative Assistant will provide education, support, screening, assessment and results specific to HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and Viral Hepatitis per the standards and guidance of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Office of HIV/AIDS (MDPH/OHA).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage daily schedule of the PASS team.
  • Complete administrative related processes to include managing calls, scheduling and managing appointments, screening, assessment, and providing results.
  • Facilitate and complete supported referrals and document per protocol.
  • Maintain supply logs.
  • Gathers and enter demographic information including insurance, financial and communication preferences according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with PASS team to prioritize and meet patient needs
  • Notify the PASS team to scheduled arrivals, walk-ins, and cancellations in accordance with written protocols.
  • Engage in proper telephone technique and etiquette according to Lowell CHC protocol.
  • Practice with cultural competence and humility.
  • Provide HIV, STI, and HCV risk assessment and screening per the standards of local and state regulation
  • Complete all required MDPH documentation.
  • Complete all required documentation in electronic health record, as applicable
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold privacy and dignity standards.Provide courteous, friendly, efficient, and professional customer service at all times.
  • Participate in administrative supervision as scheduled.
  • Participate in group clinical supervision, as scheduled.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
