JOB TITLE: Assistant Pharmacy Manager
DEPARTMENT: Pharmacy
REPORTS TO: Pharmacy Manager
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, the Assistant Pharmacy Manager will direct pharmacy staff in completing a variety of assignments within the pharmacy department. The Assistant Pharmacy Manager works within general methods and procedures, and exercises considerable independent judgment to select the proper course of action. The Assistant Pharmacy Manager maintains knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the facility's pharmaceutical program and personnel policies and procedures. The Assistant Pharmacy Manager conducts themselves in a professional manner with regards to behavior, telephone courtesy, professional dress and communication with colleagues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Current Pharmacist License in Massachusetts (Must be in good standing)
Education: B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm D. with retail management preferred.
