Lowcountry Women’s Specialists is a privately-run OB/GYN practice serving the Lowcountry for over 30 years. Our team of administrators, medical professionals and our practice’s 8 physicians – Dr. Christopher Accetta, Dr. Martha Cohen, Dr. Jennifer Heinemann, Dr. Christine Hunter, Dr. Ronnie Givens, Dr. William “Bo” Reeves, Dr. Hunter Smith, and Dr. William “Miles” Reeves (8/1/21) – are deeply committed to our patients and our community. We serve patients at locations in Carnes Crossroads and Summerville. We proudly deliver babies at the newly-renovated Women and Children’s Center at Summerville Medical Center and the new Roper Saint Francis Berkeley Hospital. We are looking for two ultrasound technicians with OB experience to join our team.
Job Duties:
· Must be able to multi-task while maintaining a high patient volume.
· Perform Obstetric and Gynecologic ultrasounds in low-risk and high-risk patients as requested. Sonographer will have to consult with the Physician regarding findings immediately after completion or during the scan.
· Must be willing to rotate between both locations.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to perform and stay levelheaded while under stress.
· Demonstrate excellent and positive communication skills with co-workers, patients, and physicians.
· Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients.
Supplement towards annual registration and continuing education.
Education:
· Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education program (CAAHEP) required.
Requirements:
· Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
· Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) certification
· OB/GYN experience
