Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Being an Ultrasonographer II may require an associate degree in a related area. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. In addition, Ultrasonographer II typically requires completion of an accredited program in Medical Sonography.
