Overview: The Front Desk will be a hard-working professional able to undertake various office support tasks and work diligently in a fast paced setting while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail. The Front Desk is responsible for performing various administrative functions involved with helping the organization with daily operations.
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED Certificate
● Two (2) years of experience in a medical or behavioral health office environment
● Two (2) years of experience in working with people who have disabilities and/or people who are elderly
● Resident of Louisiana
● Current Driver’s License
● Criminal Background Check Clearance
● Three valid references (employment is preference; personal will be considered)
● Working knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
● Strong organizational skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment while demonstrating time management skills
Essential Functions and Capabilities:
● Proven experience as an office assistant or in another relevant administrative role.
● Lead by example, have a positive attitude, and be a role model for emulating the philosophy of Loving Hearts of La.
● This is a full time position. Be available in person or by telecommunication at all times to ensure a continuous service delivery.
● Demonstrate accountability, dependability, and ethics in the job role and with the team.
● Maintain strict confidentiality; adheres to all HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
● Abide by all agency policies and procedures.
● Maintain a professional appearance; follow the organization’s dress code standards.
● Provide administrative duties and support. Including but not limited:
● Answering/ transferring phone calls
●Taking messages
●Assisting with front door
●Filing duties
●Data entry, collection, and production
●Ensure necessary office supplies are available
●Deliver best in class client and team support with the highest level of respect.
● Maintain cleanliness of the office.
● Provide assistance and support to associates in ways that optimize procedures within the organization.
● Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues timely and accordingly.
● Communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, vendors, families, support coordinators, program offices, the
community, regulatory agencies and other providers of service, and members of upper management.
● Occasional travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, which may include overnight travel.
● Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
● Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
● Continuous grasping and repetitive movement with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms
● Continuous reaching, alternating between shoulder level and above-shoulder-level height
● Frequent twisting and bending
● Occasional pushing and pulling
● Occasional climbing of ladder/step stool

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
