Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with faculty and staff to identify, interview, assist in the hiring process of qualified tutors and student workers, including departmental onboarding, training, and supporting these individuals
• Collect data and create reports
• Manage marketing and outreach promotion and activities for department
• Assist students in scheduling and accessing tutoring services
• Train and mentor student workers and tutors
• Provide quality customer service to various populations, including prospective, current, and former students related to connecting with learning/library resources and student services at all instructional sites
• Advises students as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education:

• Must be a professional, creative, and resourceful self-starter with a customer service orientation and a willingness to work with a diverse population
• Bachelor’s degree required; previous experience in education or libraries a plus
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with MS Office tools
• Advanced technical skills
