Consultant (Generalist)
Location
Greater Chicagoland Area
Working Mode
Hybrid, but willing to join a thriving office culture at least 2 to 3 days a week
What You’ll Do
As a Consultant (Generalist), you will work with colleagues and client personnel at all levels to design and implement business transformation initiatives. The Consultant is responsible for supporting solution development through data gathering, research, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and developing high-quality written materials. You will be expected to contribute to multiple engagements concurrently.
Successful candidates will have at least one year of experience at a management consulting firm, Fortune 500 company, or organization similar to clients Lotis Blue serves.
Accountabilities
- Deliver analytically/factually correct, relevant, and readily understandable work product
- Contribute to ideation, problem diagnosis, and solution development that delivers capability in core consulting tradecraft, data science, and/or behavioral science on client engagements
- Coordinate project work and interactions with the client at the direction of the project team
- Behave in accordance with Firm culture and values
Expected Impact
- Adds to the team’s knowledge, awareness, clarity, and depth in addressing the client's situation and potential solutions
- Demonstrates solid command of content that delivers relevant, actionable insights and affects the trajectory of the work
- Presents and visualizes data and information in a clear, accurate, and compelling manner that supports evolving ideation
- Reliably produces client-ready analyses with high independence and strong first drafts of complete documents
- Valued by the client as a contributing team member
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Willingness to travel up to 10 days per month
- U.S. Citizenship or Green card
- Experience successfully managing projects and teams
- 1 years of working experience
- Highly effective problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguous or complex challenges
- Can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
- Capability in Power BI or other data analytics and visualization tools
- Spike in a technical discipline that provides needed expertise to support our team
