About the Role
Well respected specialty insurance organization in the greater Chicago area seeks an Actuarial Consultant to join their actuarial team.
The Actuarial Consultant will assist with loss reserving, pricing, and data analytics projects for a variety of commercial property and casualty lines of business including medical professional liability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and analyze large volumes of data, ensuring integrity and accuracy
- Setup and / or oversee spreadsheet analysis, templates, and exhibits
- Apply complex actuarial theories and principles to create statistical models
- Prepare and / or oversee production exhibits and written reports to present findings
Skills & Experience
- BA / BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, or economics
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) Required
- 3 years of actuarial experience in the commercial lines property & casualty industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Alteryx, R, Python, or related program coding experience ideal
Compensation & Benefits
$150,000 to $180,000, bonus, generous benefits package
