Job Title: Sr. System Engineer (Linux)

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience with Minimum of 7 years of IT experience.

Responsibilities:

• evaluate, plan and integrate technical infrastructure solutions
• guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability and performance
• analyse issues within applications/systems and define corrective measures
• cooperate with other groups in engineering on delivery of large scale programs

Skills Must have:

• Ideally 5 years of hands-on experience with applications in Linux environment
• Good knowledge of Linux OS family
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Shell scripting (bash, powershell)
• Python scripting (minimum 2 years of experience) or Typescript
• Typescript - fullstack development
• Infrastructure Engineering - deploy infrastructure resources
• Gitlab CI/CD (advantageous)

Nice to have:

• Experience with vulnerability scanning is a plus
• Prior banking / investment banking domain experience
