We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you need to be age eligible to deliver alcohol packages to customers, you will be responsible for transporting goods including alcohol packages and products to various locations validating their customer's driver license for age verification. Your role will involve operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading items, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Duties:
- Own and Safely operate a personal delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, check driver license of the customer receiving the package, including receipts and invoices
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing inventory
- Ensure proper handling of fragile or perishable items, including refrigerated items if required
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Extensive driving experience with Age to be greater than 21 years to deliver alcohol products is required
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift medium to heavy delivery packages and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
