Our client is looking for a Field Computer Technician to help solve hardware and software problems that cannot be solved through the phone!

• Contract to hire
• Mileage reimbursement

Day to Day Work:

• Break fix repair of Industry standard enterprise level servers, blades, storage and networking equipment.
• Working with various teams in the data center environment to schedule service outages, repairs, and validations, and inventory control and the associated paperwork.
• Interact in a professional manner with onsite customer personnel and the local Unisys team.

Requested Skills:

• Background in Hardware Server and /or Storage repairs, Data center experience as plus
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive Attitude and mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting complex.
• Specific Server and Storage training will be provided
• Learn and retain proprietary processes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience replacing motherboards, LCDs, and other miscellaneous computer hardware
• A certified, or any other IT related certifications

Pay: $22.86 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
