The Contact Lens Technician position requires a combination of retail sales, medical knowledge, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate should have or be able to quickly acquire a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology and learn our company processes of working with patients on how to properly utilize contact lenses. While experience in optical or medical settings is beneficial, no prior experience is required for this role. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support, assisting with marketing and department growth, inventory and product management, and delivering excellent patient service. Additionally, candidates with Spanish speaking skills will be preferred. Premium skills in eyecare, HIPAA compliance, and experience working in patient care settings are a plus. Familiarity with EMR systems, sales, marketing and project management is also advantageous
