Inside Sales Specialist

Overview

Leading Long Island-based food distributor seeks a dynamic Inside Sales Business Development Specialist. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various sales channels to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Conduct pre-call research on sales opportunities to gather insights about prospective clients.
  • Establish rapport with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide product information, pricing, and support to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Generate and present quotes and proposals tailored to client’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities in CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
