Long Cove Club is Hiring a Receptionist Near Hilton Head Island, SC
Please note that this is a part-time position, requiring availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in managing administrative tasks such as scheduling, communication, record-keeping, and financial transactions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with technology use, including but not limited to point-of-sale systems and reservation software.
- Please note that sports knowledge is not required for this role-we will teach you!
- Open and close the Sports Center Pro Shop according to scheduled hours.
- Reserve courts upon members' requests and manage court scheduling.
- Answer the tennis shop phone, check messages, and respond to all inquiries promptly.
- Notify tennis professionals of any changes in lesson schedules.
- Communicate with court maintenance to assess court playability.
- Alert members of court changes due to weather via phone and ForeTees postings.
- Ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Monitor court play to validate reserved courts and set up the tennis ball machine.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
