We are currently looking for a high energy, organized, and self-motivated Receptionist. J. Banks Design is an award-winning design firm of over 55 associates working globally in both the residential and hospitality sectors. Our ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, effectively manage multiple initiatives, and a customer service-oriented mindset to effectively represent the company and support its daily operations.

This position is full time and will work with our creative team on Hilton Head Island, SC.

Summary:

As a receptionist, your role is crucial in providing a quality first impression for visitors and callers and ensuring smooth communication both internally and externally. You will be responsible for various tasks such as:

• Answering phones with proactive customer service and welcoming all visitors.
• Maintaining the company calendar.
• Managing the company contacts database, scheduling conference rooms and vehicles, and assisting with accounts payable tasks.
• Training new employees, managing office supplies, and assisting with internal events.
• Maintaining professionalism and adhering to company policies.
• Handling additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Education and experience include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One-year related experience in a customer facing role.
• Computer and software experience
• Knowledge of phone systems, emails, and scheduling tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
