As a VP, Branch Manager for our fast-paced Fort Worth credit office, you'll manage the overall functions of a medium- to large-sized branch office, including credit quality, loan servicing, business development, and personnel administration. In addition, you'll be the face of the organization in the local community. This position has a high level of delegated authority and some supervisory responsibility, but most of the duties are related to loan making. In this important role, you'll have considerable latitude for decision-making in the implementation of association goals.

Day-to-day, you will:

* be responsible for goals and objectives for your branch office and its employees, delegating authority as appropriate to carry out the goals and objectives. You'll motivate, evaluate and train branch office employees and consults with upper management concerning staffing needs.

* represent and promotes the association by maintaining good public and member relations.

* generate new loan business, service existing loans and manage the loan portfolio of your branch.

* complete loan analyses within the guidelines and policies of the association.

* process and approve loan requests within the limits of delegated authority and in accordance with association guidelines.

* prepare and submit loan requests that exceed delegated lending authority to the appropriate management level along with recommendation for approval or rejection.

* ensure all assigned loans are properly risk rated, assigned loss given defaults are correct and performance status assignments are proper.

* comply with proper credit administration practices as outlined in the association's policies and procedures.

* determine eligibility and scope of financing for all new loans and ensure verification of assets and liabilities.

* secure background and credit history on new loans, repeat loans and renewals.

* provide for evaluation of loan collateral in accordance with association policies and procedures. Ensure proper lien perfection on all collateral.

* maintain awareness of agricultural trends and business activity, FCA regulations, and legal obligations.

* ensure branch office operations comply with applicable policies, regulations and laws.

* prepare reports as required by association management, the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies.

* coordinate the implementation of advertising and marketing programs.

* perform collections and management of branch offices, adverse assets including acquired property as required to minimize potential loss to the association's acquired property as required.

* be responsible for day-to-day operations of the branch.

* assist with or attend public relations functions for the association, as necessary.

Your qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and three (3) to five (5) years or more of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory and/or Management position.
