Loma Linda University Health is Hiring a Quality Assurance Auditor Near Loma Linda, CA

Job Summary: The Auditor -Quality Assurance receives and investigates reports of privacy and security violations, inquires, complaints, concerns and ensures they are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree in business or related field preferred. Minimum two years audit related experience preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Ability to write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Highly functional and well-demonstrated process skills. Demonstrated flexibility in project and initiative management, ensuring the timely completion of required work in conjunction with constantly moving deadlines and multiple priorities. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Must possess pertinent skills with respect to preparing and delivering verbal and written presentations, including English language skills. Must demonstrate diplomacy, tact, a professional demeanor and an ability to relate to people of diverse demographic backgrounds. Ability to work independently. Committed to continuous quality improvement in systems, processes and performance; consistently exercises a learning attitude and approach to all duties; Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; team oriented. Problem solving and reasoning skills are necessary. Ability to analyze and synthesize data and to prepare special and recurring reports or analyses. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with others and be able to maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices through independent research and continuing education. Must be able to handle pressure, deadlines and interruptions. Sight, hearing, touch, and speaking. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
