Logistics Management Institute is Hiring a Project Analyst Near Washington, DC

LMI seeks a Program Analyst to support a federal directorate in the National Capital Region. Responsibilities

  • Supporting the assigned office with a broad range of analytic, budgetary, and other program support duties to USBP Senior Leadership
  • Performing work in areas of intelligence, human resources/workforce management, performance management, personnel actions, budget items, purchase requests, inventory and procurement tracking, and travel;
  • Developing various presentations and briefings to leadership as required.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience or 5 years of related office experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced and skilled in solving problems involving multiple program and organizational areas.
  • Experienced in utilizing finance systems to provide budgetary tracking and updates.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform a wide range of critical functions such as prepare recommendations and narrative/data reports for executive level leadership.
  • Act as an advisor on ways to add efficiencies and effectiveness to programs and procedures.
  • Ability to act as liaison with other organizations to represent the agency’s interests and establish harmonious working relationships with counterparts.

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. The BI includes financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, and employment verifications. U.S. citizenship is required.

This position is contingent upon completion of a CBP BI and client funding.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of mission support related systems, tracking tools, and databases (i.e., SAP, WEBTA, FACTS, ECOMP, BW) to perform functional tasks.
  • Experience in the area of government contracts/procurement to help coordinate between program area and procurement staff to ensure timely execution of required procurement related activities
  • Active/Full CBP background investigation (BI)
