Your new responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily warehouse operations, including proper cargo stacking, segregation and stowage.
• Coordinate and allocate personnel to ensure a safe, positive and efficient work environment.
• Ensure that the warehouse areas are properly cleaned and maintained. 
• Maintain accurate and timely paperwork related to the operations. 
• Plan and coordinate warehousing operations with stevedoring activities to maximize productivity.
• Ensure that operating procedures are followed and properly communicated.
• Work with the team to coordinate with customers, plan shipments, dispatch cargo, ensure on time/accurate deliveries, and handle problem situations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environment program; provide necessary safety training.

You have the right qualifications:

• High School Graduate; college degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of warehouse supervisory/management experience; maritime experience preferred.
• Provide leadership and behave in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to work efficiently in a changing and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of methods and equipment utilized in stevedoring and/or warehouse operations; supervisory experience.
• Health and Safety oversight experience; knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate efficient teamwork and promote cooperation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• $28-$32/hr. DOE, Benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and Holiday pay
