GREAT CAREER OPPORTUNITY AT LOGISTEC

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operator to work at our busy port terminals. This is an opportunity for the right individuals with a GOOD WORK ETHIC to demonstrate their ability to OPERATE Industrial Forklift equipment to move products, equipment or materials to or from storage areas, or to load and unload trucks, railroad cars, or ships. Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends while working in all weather conditions.

Your new responsibilities:

• Operate lift trucks with capacities ranging from 8,000 to 33,000 lbs in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.
• Put away and pull correct cargo orders per company procedures
• Inspect trailers to ensure they are ready for cargo
• Load and secure trailers, containers, and rail cars
• Regularly lift 30 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Inspect cargo and report any damages to the supervisor.

You have the right qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience operating Forklift Equipment in a busy industrial setting.
• Ability to work varying shifts as needed
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and comprehend standard instructions
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC card
• Outgoing, friendly personality.
• $17.00/hr. plus off shift premium pay, benefits and more!
