Lofton Staffing Services is Hiring a Training Manager Near Covington, LA

TRAINING SUPERVISOR NEEDED
Do you have excellent knowledge of training and development, organizing and developing training resources, and employment law? Then this opportunity could be for you!
Our office is currently seeking a Training Supervisor for an excellent company in Mandeville. Duties are as follows:
  • Work to improve company training and development programs.
  • Manage training grants, as well as draft proposals for grants.
  • Select and manage outsourced training programs.
  • Organize and coordinate professional development course training.
  • Training team supervision
  • Make sure all training programs and materials are compliant with company and industry protocols.
  • Schedule training
  • Facilitate and conduct/run meetings and annual training; cannot have an issue with public speaking!
  • Prepare budgets through research of prior years’ training costs with the goal of improving spending.
  • Develop testing and evaluation procedures, educational materials, and multimedia visual aids.
  • Record maintenance
  • Reporting
  • Trainee evaluations
  • Responsible for the supervision and implementation of all training programs
  • Timely and accurately process payments to training vendors.
  • Various administrative duties within the HR realm; HR duties
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; knowledge of certification requirements preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in a learning development field
  • Experience with project management of new programs
  • Prior experience in coursework instruction preferred.
  • HR knowledge needed.
  • Spanish bilingual preferred
  • ADA, EEO, FMLA, Title VII, wage and hour laws, and benefits knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience applying state and federal laws within a workforce.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, have critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high sense of confidentiality.
  • Excellent presentation skills needed; must be able to speak publicly and clearly.
  • Ability to work proactively in building systemic processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, general business periodicals and governmental regulations related to training.
  • Ability to write procedure manuals and reports.
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence.
  • Ability to present information effectively and answer questions from higher ups, general employees, clientele, government officials and the general public.
Lofton offers benefits, including health, vision, dental and paid vacation after one year of service. Pay rate of $100k-115k, DOE. This is a direct hire position that does require the exact experience mentioned; those that have experience should apply asap!
